If you're new to the server and the community, the best way to learn more, connect with other players, and ask questions is to join the . Scoutcord is the official BSAmemes Discord Community, and where you can quickly receive support for questions, make feature requests or bug reports, talk in live chat with other players, and more.
When you first join the server, you'll find yourself in the Spawn Gazebo. Walk through the tutorial and out into the Plaza. From there, you can go anywhere & build anything. Whether you want you want to stay close to Spawn and interact with new players, or venture far out and live like a hermit, the choice is yours.
When you first join, you receive a Welcome Kit to help you on your first start of the journey: wooden tools, torches, a bed, food, and campfire. You'll find community donation chests at Spawn which might have some free items donated by regular players.
The BSAmemes Minecraft Server is a primarily vanilla survival game. Your progression is mostly vanilla, but there are a few quality of life features that we've added to the game.
If you prefer a more chill survival playstyle, keep inventory is on for the first 500 block radius outside of Spawn. You can build you base within this radius & never have to worry about a creeper ruining your day, if you choose.
The server is set to Normal difficulty. The farther you venture out of Spawn, the tougher the mobs get. Leveled mobs appear the farther and deeper down you go away from Spawn, and drop more loot the higher level the slay. Leveled mobs create a more challenging experience for players that choose to venture to the farther reaches of the Overworld.
Tougher mobs only appear outside of the first 1,000 block radius from Spawn, so players that want a more chill experience do not have to face increasingly tougher enemies. We aim to offer a pairing between 2 playstyles - chill & challenging - with the keep inventory zone and leveled mobs.
PvP is an optional system. Players are enrolled in a PvP toggle system, with their default as PvP off. Players that want to play PvP can use /pvp to toggle their status back and forth as you see fit. There is a cooldown to prevent toggle abuse.
Players with PvP turned on will have a red flag next to their name in tab so you know if players are interested in battle. PvP kills do not drop items, so you can fight your friends for fun, or even build a community battle arena.
